Ichthys Onshore LNG Facilities Darwin - EPC Building Works

The Ichthys project, based in Bladin Point, Darwin, will take gas from the Ichthys Field in the Browse Basin offshore from Western Australia. It is expected to produce 8.4 million tonnes of LNG and 1.6 million tonnes of LPG per annum, along with approximately 100,000 barrels of condensate per day at peak. Mitcon Projects is constructing part of the concrete works for the Build One component of the project. This component is critical infrastructure required for the onshore LNG facilities that will ensure the first gas supplies are delivered to INPEX by July 2016.
Scope of works
The provision of all labour, plant and equipment for the completion of the Concrete Works package including detailed excavation, steel-fixing, formwork, concrete place and finish for footings and ground slabs in buildings of approximately 30,000m2.
